How to Place Your First Order with Supplied
Okay sis, get ready… Supplied is here to empower you to achieve your boutique dreams, big or small. (But probably big, let’s be real!)
You’ve already figured out what it is you want to achieve – the next step is figuring out how to get there. Starting a boutique can be incredibly fulfilling, motivating, and FUN, but it’s not an easy business… to be successful, you’ve got to find the right way to reach new customers, build a unique brand, and find on-trend inventory that offers you great margins.
Here at Supplied, you’ll find over 100,000 trendy, quality wholesale boutique items that your customers will absolutely love. And the best part? You can access them at factory-direct prices, meaning you’ll save up to 75% off what you might pay to a different supplier. With no minimum order quantities, free shipping on your first order, and a 100% money-back guarantee, it’s definitely the best place to start setting your boutique up for success.
But here’s the thing… navigating how to work with a new supplier is ALWAYS a little tricky. And not all wholesale suppliers are created equal – it’s hard to know if what you see is really what you’ll get when you order inventory online.
We’ll walk you through the entire process of placing your first online order with Supplied (including how to get free shipping and save 15% on your first order!)
Read on to learn how to find the best wholesale accessories online, how to create a Supplied account, how to place your first order with Supplied, and how to save some serious $$ while doing it.
1. Browse www.suppliedshop.com
With 100,000+ wholesale boutique items from over 2,000 different factories available to order on our website, there’s a lot to choose from. You’ll find wholesale jewelry, wholesale accessories, wholesale decor, wholesale home goods, wholesale children’s items, and so much more. Feel free to browse through the site for as long as you like – but if you’re feeling a little overwhelmed by the wide selection, here are a few suggestions of where to start:
- Shop bestsellers. Visit this page to see the most popular inventory items boutique owners like you have purchased (and repurchased!) in the past, across all categories.
- Shop by category. Whether you stick to selling only jewelry in your boutique or you’re interested in branching out and selling home decor in your online shop, this is the easiest way to see all available items by category in one place.
- Shop by new arrivals. Our team is constantly doing the hard work of trendspotting so you don’t have to – take a look at the hottest new inventory items for the upcoming season.
- Shop sales. Even on top of our already-low factory-direct prices, we run sales all the time! Take a look at what’s on sale right now and save even more. (If you’re looking for the best prices, you can also filter by price range on any page.)
- Shop by collection. We’ve put together loads of fun collections to shop from, grouping products by season, by pattern, by trend, and more.
As you find products you love, simply select the color and quantity desired and then click add to cart. You’ll save even more by adding multiple to your cart – save 5% on 2+ of the same item or 10% on 10+ items. The discount will automatically be applied to your cart!
2. Create an account
Next up, it’s time to make it official by becoming a Supplied member. Don’t worry – it’s totally free and only takes a minute or two. Creating an account will allow you to take advantage of extra savings and perks, like free shipping on your first order of $50+ PLUS 15% off.
To get started, click the “Create wholesale account” button at the top of the screen. You can create an account with Google, Facebook, or with your email. Then, you’ll just need to answer a few quick questions about you and your business (since Supplied was created exclusively for business owners). We’ll ask you to indicate your gender, the year you started your business, where you sell, what type of products you sell in your store, your estimated annual revenue, and whether you have a business license. (You can choose to do all of this at checkout instead if you’d prefer.)
Time to place your order! Take a look at your cart to make sure everything looks right, then click “check out” to fill out your shipping information and payment information. (Be sure to enter the 15% off promo code you received via email when you signed up!) You can pay via credit card, PayPal, or Sezzle, a flexible payment option that allows you to split your inventory up into 4 payments. (Learn more about shopping Supplied with Sezzle here.)
Here, you’ll also select your out-of-item preference. Our most popular items often sell out – if the exact item you requested happens to be unavailable, choose whether you’d like us to substitute it for a similar color or style or issue you a refund.
To complete your order, you’ll have to provide your business information if you haven’t already done so to show you’ll be using your Supplied items for business purposes. If you have a business license, you’ll indicate your legal business name and your federal tax ID along with a photo of your business license. If you don’t have a business license, we’ll ask you to provide us with additional information. Our team will review your response and manually approve your order if it’s a valid business case.
4. Get your pretty items
The moment you’ve been waiting for! Once you’ve placed your order, sit tight. It typically takes 2-3 weeks from placing an order to receive your items, which is super fast for international shipping. However, if you’re reading this in February, you might encounter Chinese New Year delays. Click here to learn more about CNY shipping delays.
Once you get your package, share pics and/or an unboxing video to the Supplied Family Facebook group – we’d love to see what you picked out!
If you have any questions about your order, reach out to our US-based customer service team via email or DM. They’d be thrilled to help you out!
5. Watch it all fly off the shelves
Time to get your customers super hyped! Snap a few pics of your new products, list them on your website, share photos of them on social media, display them during Facebook Live – whatever you’ve got to do to get them in front of the right people. Your customers are gonna fall in love!
